Listings electric and drill and stand up computer desks this year total 389 jackup up units, an increase of 11 from last year. this net increase is the result of seven newbuilds announced for: atwood oceanics (1), ensco (1), maersk (1), pride (2) and santa fe (2). three units were added to former soviet union listings and two to electric national iranian drilling. one rig was deleted from national drilling drill co. of abu dhabi''s fleet. the listing excludes shallow-water units working in inland waters, and those in non-drilling/workover modes, e.g., tender assist, production and stand accommodation.

most air-cooled products (including chillers, rooftop units, and condensing units) use dx evaporators. up most dx systems allow oil to travel electric through the refrigeration circuit and back to the compressor oil sump. great care must be taken during design to provide oil return, particularly at part load, when drill refrigerant flow rates are reduced.water-cooled chillers often use flooded evaporators. stand and up in a flooded evaporator, even small amounts of oil can coat evaporator electric tubes and significantly drill and stand diminish chiller performance. this can lead to an elaborate oil-recovery system. magnetic bearings eliminate the need for these systems and oil management up in general. in fact, the only required regular electric maintenance of the drill compressor is the quarterly tightening of the terminal screws, the annual blowing stand off of dust and cleaning of the up boards, and the changing of the capacitors every five years. complete service agreements and extended maintenance contracts can be provided by the manufacturer.
